Poultry Science: About Us
Finding the UGA Poultry Science Department from the West (Atlanta North):
- Take Route I-285 to Route I-85 North
- Exit Right onto GA 316
- Turn Right onto the Athens By-Pass (Loop GA 10)
- Exit at College Station Road
- Turn Left onto College Station Road
- Go Under the By-Pass and Turn Right at the Second Traffic Signal (River Road) (After turning, 4 Towers, The "Information and Visitors Center" is on the Left)
- Proceed until the Parking Deck is on your Left, and Turn Right
- You should see the Parking Services Building ahead and to the Left
- Stop there and ask for a Parking Permit, and get a Campus Map and Directions
To find the Poultry Science Building
- From the Parking Services Building, return to the road in front of the Parking Deck and Turn Right
- Proceed around the East Campus Loop
- Turn right at the first road (about 1/4 of the way around the loop, there is a sign to turn for the Performing Arts Center )
- Proceed to the first Traffic Signal
- Turn Right onto East Campus Drive
- Turn Left at the Second Traffic Signal onto Cedar Street
The Poultry Science Building is the second building on the Right. There may be parking on the street in front of the building, or you may go around to the back of the building by turning right at the first light, and bearing Right at the fork. After a dumpster on the left side of the street, The Poultry Science Building will be on the right.
