Extension Publications
A bimonthly newsletter for broiler producers, commercial egg producers, breeder flock managers, hatchery operators, processors and backyard flock owners. The purpose of these news letters is to provide relevant and useful information to individuals involved in the raising of poultry or in the business of poultry production.
Extension bulletins are detailed publications that may cover a broad subject area related to some aspect of poultry production, processing or marketing. These publications may be useful to poultry farmers, county agents, poultry integrators or any individual interested in detailed information related to poultry. The Extension faculty of the Department of Poultry Science have prepared a number of bulletins related to various aspect of poultry management and business.
- Nutrient Management Plan (Under Development)
Development and implementation of poultry nutrient management plans has become an important management tool for poultry producers in Georgia. In recent years a nutrient management program has been developed for use by all poultry producers in Georgia. This program provides information and tools necessary for the completion of a nutrient management plan for a commercial poultry operation.
